And in Spain as well! I have spotted so far only 3 Albanian plates over here.

I haven't seen an Albanian in Loznica, but I managed to spot a 1999 Kosovar plate instead

Nevertheless this year will see changes in the Albanian license plate system:
1. Introduction of vanity plates (up to 7 characters)
2. Smaller front plates will be introduced for those vehicles with space limitations (360 by 100 mm) as well as US-sized plates
3. Dimensions of 177x177mm are being introduced for motorcycle plates
4. Older plates will likely cease to be valid (mainly issued before 1 March 2010)

Interestingly, UK registered cars are quite common in Albania, especially in Tirana
