The first Registration of Villach!!
These Austrian first registrations are really rare since they have had to stay with the original owner since 1989/1990.
This particular example was issued as eurobandless plate in probably late 1989, then after 2002 reissued as a plate with euroband and then after 2017 reissued again as an electric plate. It was already seen on the 18th of march 2024 by user Mrvain, but he unfortunately didn't manage to take a photo. He told me it was on a different vehicle, but also with green font.
This is now the fifth time I saw a first austrian registration, after Graz, Völkermarkt, Sankt Veit and Murtal. These are becoming exponentially rarer, so I hope it is not the last time I saw one of them!
