carplates_switzerland VeVV I'll take over the baton, I'm in Melbourne right now) Looking forward for your pictures
There are almost 2000 from Victoria. And apart from it are waiting for opening to be upload 450 NSW, more than 1000 QLD and more than 2000 TAS. From my previous traveling I have left more than 2000 from WA. For now I have total of some 7500 from Australia

Are there any TAS plates that you haven't already spotted? Sounds like you already got photos of everything in the state

Indeed, almost all the TAS photos I made in Hobart and in the area around. When I was driving far from Hobart there have been cases when I have not seen a single car for several kilometers. As an example. There is a road B34 in Tasmania. This roads connects road A3 near Cranbrook and road A where Campbell is. The distance of B34 is 60 km. So, just imagine when I was driving along all that distance I haven't met no one car! And no one settlment! It was on my way back from Wineglass bay and I decided to choose another way to see more Tasmanian landscapes. It was a wrong decision since while driving I was making pictures of the plates and there were nothing interesting in that area. I asked myself why did they create this road if no one uses it. I have never seen such a lonely place before, even in the Far East of Russia.

That's why Australia is so fun. Lots of open space with no other people for many miles and of course, not everything is about the plates. Make sure to enjoy this country's nature, too! I also have very many TAS plates to upload to the gallery. I wonder if the state could be moved further up the list of new galleries to be added, depending on how many photos are waiting to be uploaded by the users?

TAS has already moved up closer, now it goes before SA. But honestly speaking the Tasmanian fleet quite boring. It's nothing compared to what I saw and spotted in Melbourne.

Very nice! I was thinking about visiting Tasmania this year, too, so it's probably better if the state is further up the list. I already have a big backlog of TAS plates spotted in VIC, much more than SA. Probably unlikely that Tasmania will get moved any further up the list, but 5th place is a good result for the state that was 8th before

Fill the galleries that are uploadable
That's exactly what I've been doing for the last few months, uploading 5-10 pictures every day from different states.

I see.
Only 5 to 10 photos per day?
I thought you were uploading many more photos per day
For what? Firstly, I am just taking my time and enjoyning. I like the way I upload - 10 pictures per day but regularly. When I visit a country and take pictures of plates there, I stretch the uploading for many years later. For example, I brought back about 2000 photos from Iraq and have been gradually uploading them already for two years now. And I still have enough to keep this gallery alive for a year or more. Secondly, yes, I can upload a hundred photos a day, but the archive will end in a month or two, and then the gallery may become dead if other users stop uploading. Currently, only two users regularly upload to the gallery of Australia, although at least two more can do this, but for some reason they don't.
I'm waiting to upload more from Australia, but right now I have nothing more from the open states From NT and SA I have about 1'000 pictures together and arround 400 NSW and 100 ACT. Also I'm still really looking forward to the nationwide plates to finally upload all teh roadtrains I've spotted. This will strech many years, so each time a state opens I can re-live the trip

I didn't mean you in the previous message. I remember that you still have unuploaded photos from other states that have not yet been opened. As for the nationwide, I'm also waiting for them, as I have a lot of them too. By the way, I noticed that these plates still have their own code in each state, but I don't think it's clearly linked to the state. For example, I saw XW code mostly in VIC and a bit in WA, only one XV in VIC, XT in TAS, XQ in QLD and XO in NSW. I havn't been in NT and SA but I suppose that there is a XS code (that I have never seen) in SA state and XN that I met in Sydney is from NT

Ah, I see
Now I understand what you mean but some users have the "problem" that they had a huge achive and the laptop or hard drive got crashed and all photos were gone
