I wish we got these sorts of spots in London! Ireland seems to be a hotspot for them in the UK. Just waiting for NSW gallery to open up now, got a few of them at least. Missed all the others that came here to London in the past though :bad:

I think the reason so many are appearing in Ireland recently is because many Irish people are returning home from Australia. Many are still emigrating to Australia, but many that are returning home seem to be bringing their cars home with them. I've personally spotted 2 from VIC, 4 from NSW & 1 from QLD

The reason why some Irish people are returning home is very vaired to be honest. For some, they miss home & whilst really enjoyed Australia especially when they were younger, now they might have kids & want to raise them in Ireland.

Another reason is that the construction sector in Ireland is very strong at the moment, but was not during the recession which attracted a lot of Irish people to Australia as the construction sector there was very strong there.

Some Irish people I've talked to who've returned home from Australia also say that the cost of living has become incredibly high in Australia (even though most metrics actually show Ireland has the highest cost of living of any country in the world), but for some, the thought of coming home, especially if they now have a family, is worth it.
