Happy 1 year anniversary of the Bahraini gallery (12/8)!
For this occasion, i found a rather fitting spot that hearkens back to the first ever upload on the gallery; a Renault Avantime.
Don't let this cute, unassuming, old city car fool you because i can assure you it's rarer than %99 of everything i ever uploaded to this gallery so far. French cars in general have largely fallen out of popularity by the 1990s in Bahrain. In fact, i don't even know if this example was even sold new in the island.

French cars popularity really depends on which part of the Arabia. For example, there's a surprising number of modern Peugeots scattered across Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. They aren't quite Hyundai/Toyota levels of common but still surprisingly not rare to find.
