Yes, these TX II models were officially imported into North America by London Taxis North America inc., but only in very limited numbers. Another source suggests that 275 of these TX II models made it to the 'US'-Market.

Interesting, I spent months figuring that this particular vehicle had been imported from the UK only to realize that it was LHD when I was uploading it. Thanks for the information!
