That is indeed a very good and rare find. Here in Victoria, British Columbia we also have one Lada Niva that I am yet to catch.

Interesting! It's one of those obscure cars never sold in the U.S. but can be found in Canada or in the U.S. driven outside of Canada.

Yup, a lot of Russian immigrants in States are importing old Nivas from Canada. There is a guy in Seattle who collects Soviet cars he actually travelled to Canada to pick one up from a local junkyard here in Victoria with a mission to restore it.
