Oryx Something funny about the name "Qashqai" and Nissan's marketing team deciding it sounded too foreign to sell in the American market
Hahaha, yup exactly. We Americans are too dumb apparently lol. I did miss a Mitsubishi ASX unfortunately (we get them badged as an Outlander Sport, again with the "sport" name, in the USA)

These market differences between the US and Canada are always so neat. Another notable example I can think of is the last-gen Toyota Land Cruisers we didn't get them up here for whatever reason.

Yup! And VW was very into giving US and Canada different trim names. I am sure there are plenty of other slight differences as well! One of the worst ones is the 11th gen Civic Si. The Canadian market car gets a fully digital instrument cluster (US Spec is half digital), shift lights, fog lights, parking sensors, heated seats front and rear (US doesn't get heated seats at all), heated steering wheel, dual-zone climate (US is single zone), auto dimming rearview mirror, and wireless charging. And... its cheaper in Canada

That's really strange - wonder why Honda tried to short change the US market for that specific model?

Either to hit a price point, which doesn't make sense if they can afford to price them lower in Canada. I had initially thought that maybe you guys weren't going to get the new Integra but I just looked and you are. I had initially thought that maybe they were making room so people upgraded to a more expensive model, but now I have no idea
