A 16 compared to a camera yeah it sure is shit. But that’s all I have. I went from a 13 to a 16 pro and I’m able to catch more stuff that I couldn’t before

Yeah, that's my wife's phone. She did the same 13 to 16. The zoom option tries to "fix" the photo with AI and the fix is brutal on the letters.
I compare to a DSLR camera, which i shouldn't do. Overall 16 is ok, but damn, they try to push AI into every possible hole.
I'm using Xiaomi bla bla bla Note 10. It has this 100MP camera. No AI. Just low res if i need to zoom
x2 has acceptable quality for a phone.

rOOmUSh (2025-03-28 12:41:54)I find anything over 5x zoom on the 16 pro is brutal. The ai enhancements fuck them up every time. Lucky I haven’t missed a whole lot yet. I have a few truck spots that are iffy on 5x but overall most are pretty good for phone spots.
