Yes, I really drove for 70km only to spot a chinese plate. This morning my friend Super207
sent me a message telling me there was a chinese motorhome in Firenze (he saw it on a Facebook post).
So I took my car and drove till Piazzale Michelangelo, where it was located.
Definetely worth it.

I exaggerated is beat vietnam but it's not far from South Asia in any case

Thanks! As far as I know, they were in Italy already before restrictions and when I spotted them, I think they were stuck in Firenze. Not sure if the motorhome is still there.
