License plate of China, Electric vehicles

I did not expect to see this in York yesterday!
Super friendly owners too, who chatted with me and yasa0428, who was also with me! :)
The owners, a younger couple, have been travelling around the UK for the past couple of months. Next stop, Ireland!

National and International double-spot (Kent - North Yorkshire | KZ - UK)

Spotted in York, United Kingdom

Nice spot man! This might be a bold statement, but I really think the 'Archbishop cities' give London a run for its money when it comes to plate variety! :bravo:

I have to completely agree with your statement. York is lucky enough to be a famous enough city for many tourists to visit. It shouldn't surprise me that I could finally see a Chinese car in York, especially when I missed a Chinese-registered Toyota RAV4 back in 2019 when I was out in the van doing my deliveries there. I no longer live in York, but I continue to visit constantly, since I know I've spotted some incredible plates there. Thank you :D

Correct, officially these green plates denote "New Energy-powered vehicles" which also include Plug-in Hybrids.
