Oryx gregolux86 Oryx What a goofy import! Ikr! Wondering what future it will have once its owners will eventually move back to the US :/
Can it be sold privately in Germany?
Yes! Although it will have to be homologated. And for a car this age, I doubt anyone would be interested to do it. It might be sold to another service member still stationed there but the RHD factor might be a hassle to have it as a daily car :/

I wonder if they are still able to ship it back to the US and just not register it? - I think that is facilitated through the military.

Unfortunately, members of the military have to follow the same rules as civilians regarding the 25 year import rule. Quite an absurd rule in my humble opinion but US policies wouldn't be what they are without their 'complications' !

Hopefully the car gets to live out its life somewhere!
