1st plate of the former region on the site!
It started rather unsuccessfully. Already on the way back (6 hours one way) I saw from the bus window a trailer with a repeater of this plate in some yard. I didn't take photo off. The next stop is in 3-4 km. Buses run once an hour. According to the preliminary plan, I wanted to visit another village with the possibility of finding a plate with this code and another code (there are no photos on the site). I drove on from the bird in the hand, but with a crane in the sky it was also a bummer.
A day later I went the same way. The trailer was still there. At that moment, when I approached, the owner was leaving the yard. I stopped him. Explained my interest to him. The owner was so imbued with understanding that he took a tractor out of the garage and showed a scooter from the 60s. It turned out to have a modern plate, but in DIN format! Everything was allowed to take a photo.
This part of the trip ended so successfully and the other part of it was no less successful..., but that's another story.
The tractor was manufactured in 1961, the plate was issued at the same time.
Plates with the code EIH (the code restoration is not planned) were issued from 1956 to 1979. Since 1979, the code EI has been issued for the region with the same name to this day.

1-й номер бывшего региона на сайте!
Начиналось довольно неудачно. Уже на обратном пути (6 часов в одну сторону) увидел из окна автобуса прицеп с повторителем этого номера в каком-то дворе. Не снял его. Следующая остановка через 3-4 км. Автобусы ходят раз в час. По предварительному плану хотелось посетить ещё одно село с вероятностью обнаружения номера с этим кодом и ещё одним кодом (фоток на сайте нет). Поехал дальше от синицы в руке, но с журавлём в небе тоже получился облом.
Через день поехал тем же путём. Прицеп всё-ещё был там. В тот момент, когда я подошёл, со двора выезжал хозяин. Попросил его остановиться. Объяснил ему свой интерес. Хозяин настолько проникся пониманием, что вывел трактор из гаража и показал мотороллер "родом" из 60-х. Он оказался с современным номером, но в ДИН-формате! Всё разрешил снять .
Так удачно закончилась эта часть поездки и не менее удачной оказалась другая часть её..., но это уже другая история.
Трактор 1961г. выпуска, тогда же был выдан номер.
Номера с кодом EIH (восcтановление кода не планируется) выдавались с 1956 по 1979. С 1979 года для региона с тем же названием выдают код EI по сей день.
