Its former registration

Really? Im suprised! Is there any way to tell if it is still valid? I just assumed that it has an Alberta plate on the rear!

Sorry, I cannot tell. The website I checked also says that this registration has "incidences" but there is no way to know them until you pay for the complete report :(

I also see the yellow "ITV" sticker on the windshield, that's pretty the same you in North America put on the license plate or the windshield when the periodical tecnical inspection is favorable. The yellow one is used for years 2014, 2017, 2020 and so on, so if it's "20" written on the sticker could mean the registration is valid, but who knows, that's just a supposition :(

It is unlikely that I will see this vehicle again, and I was unable to get a view of the rear as I was in a vehicle travelling the other direction.

It is interesting regardless of whether it is a spanish registered vehicle or an import from the Canary Islands!

Thank you for the additional information!

Seeing the type of car the yellow sticker has to be 2017 or earlier, not possible pass it for two years in a more than 8-10 years old car or a historic one
