Beautiful find.
The leading zero can be seen sometimes in the 1900 system plates and it is a manufacturing error. In my own spots with this error I've never seen the leading zero blanked.

And that's interesting to know, thanks, also curious that you've never seen a blanked lead zero before! I have photos of it driving with the roof down which I will post later since that is allowed  :)

The leading zero cames from the informatic conversion of the old archives of the traffic agency, plates were never issued with those zeros but when they made the informatic process them put the 0s for the use of the database, never for being the real plate with them. But sometimes if the people that made the plate is not aware of it them put the 0s that appear on the informatic system and made this cases happen.
