    This car is not necessarily from Guadeloupe. Each owner in France can choose any territorial id he wants in the list of the 101 allowed

    Yes I know that - It is still my first plate with 971, Gouadeloupe on it.

    But I think it's not cool that they do allow that. Would be way more intresting if you couldn't choose the dept. number.

    Sorry, I had misunderstood your annotation.

    As the opposite, I am happy to have been able to choose the territorial id where I come from   !;)
