aixam I can see that it would probably not sell well in most of Western-Europe
I was always wondering who makes decisions about certain models to be sold or not in certain countries/regions. That's merely a speculation to declare about a model how would the sale go, when they don't even let it spread on the market... No credible answer for me.

Small sedan cars are not popular in Western Europe, that's a fact Brands surely do researches about consumers behaviour in different countries, and decide to sell their models or not based on the results. Opel did sell the Astra J sedan in Switzerland, but I only saw one model on the road!
Same in Norway, I saw one once. A sedan with all of the equipment at a local used car dealership, and it wasn't even an import! Shocked me a bit too see one, then got even more shocked that it was sold new here in Norway. Perhaps it was a special order as Norway is very wagon/hatchback oriented, even more than most other countries.
