Lancia Fulvia

1st gen Sedan (818), facelift, 1969–1972

Kenteken van Italië, Auto`s (serie uit 1927)

This Lancia, property of a 94 years old man, was parked for 47 years in the same point in Conegliano Veneto (TV), Italy. The car was moved from there only to show her in this event in Padova.

In reality, the fact that the car didn't move for 47 years is a stretch edited by the newspapers to make the story more interesting. The car was still used until 7/8 years ago, although probably only sporadically, in fact there are photos on Internet with the car parked in the opposite direction to what it was now before being taken to Padova. Moreover, if it had been standing still for 47 years, car conditions would be worse, and not to mention that it would make no sense to park there a car that is only 4 years old (the car is of 1970) and never use it again, rather they would sell it. Newspapers often modify the stories to their liking, I also have a personal experience about it.

Ahhh ok, thanks a lot for these informations. I was reading about it on the Internet, and I don't really know the history of this car!

Yeah, even the Romanian journalists have done something similar with their news article about this Lancia =)

This car became worldwide famous thanks to a false fact about it :D ! In fact it's last inspection was in 2012!
