Some owners of imported Japanese cars usually put Japanese plates on them at car shows so they look nicer. The piece of paper in the windscreen said that the car was imported in 2019 (shortly before this photo was taken), but the plate looks to be in very good condition, so idk if this is a show plate or a genuine plate.

I'm leaning more on genuine. The format and combination is plausible, and the fonts look like the real deal.
