If the quality is good enough and the plate is readable, why don't you just stretch the photos to the resolution Platesmania requires?

Not to give bypasses of the rules as a moderator, but how would anybody know? The minimum size is like 480 px width/height (I forgot which). The photos you have can't be that much smaller, thus a little stretch shouldn't worsen the quality.
