This particular Perodua Ativa is a hybrid model that is assembled in Japan (rebadged Daihatsu Rocky e-Smart Hybrid). Only 300 units of these are produced and it is under an experimental car subscription scheme instead of regular sales.

As this car was assembled in Japan, the rear bumper has Japanese styled license plate frame and could be considered as #JDM #JP-spec
