License plate of Norway, Commercial vehicles

Tromsø
This is an extremely rare plate, with almost no information about it. This van was originally registered as a ''special vehicle'', which uses the same type of plate number system that trailers and motorcycles use.
But this van was re-registered as a normal van at some point, which gives it green plates. But surprisingly enough it was not given new numbers, but retained the original trailer-style 4 digit letters.
It seems like there are only a handful of green plates with only four numbers in Norway, as officially they should probably not exist.

I think this car is registrated as a "Motorized equipment"? In the 80s I worked as a co-worker on a Iveco Daily with the same kind of plate, though it had plate only rear, and it was white. That Daily had a large aluminium pressing machine in the loading room, and couldn't be used for anything else than making gutters.

I think it was registered as motorized equipment, then converted to a normal cargo van. That's why the green plates.

I guess that makes it more unusual :)

I've checked with the Norwegian register, and found actually four sedans/vans with ZK plates: ZK54196 (Nissan Maxima!), ZK7269, ZK8342 and ZK8701

That Maxima is a strange one. I guess nothing can explain it besides an error when registering it, as nothing implies in it's ownership record that it was used for some ''special use''.
