Very nice. This is one of the car models that has almost completely vanished and now only exist in memories and old archive photos like this.

A lot of british cars of the 70s and late 60s suffered a similar fate: Austin/Morris 1800, Vauxhall Viva, Vauxhall Chevette, Austin Allegro, Austin Maxi, Hillman/Sunbeam Avenger, Triumph 13/60 and many others.

A common trait for most was, that they were considered poorly made, plain, boring or downright ugly in their time, and thus unworthy of preservation, until it was too late.

Personally I feel this is a great shame, as it's like tearing pages out of the motoring history. We need more volunteers to save the "ugly ducklings" of the car world!
