This is honestly one of the best spots I have seen here. 
This is the first 3102 uploaded to the gallery outside of the former Eastern bloc, and they were barely sold outside of it. This is the last survivor of the 3(!) sold new in Norway, and from my understanding these cars were the exact opposite of Ladas. They were more expensive than it's competitors such as Mercedes and offered less equipment (at least in Norway, possibly in other western countries too). So only reason you'd buy one new was if you were a hardcore Volga-enthusiast.

Russian cars are not that uncommon actually in Norway.
They are especially prevalent in the Østerdalen valley. During my trip there this summer I met Samara, Niva and 2105 on the road all in the same day.
