Svesor Congrats!! First Mitsubishi Lancer Cargo in Norwegian gallery
This is really a Lancer Cargo? I reported the choice as a mistake but I'm honestly very bad with specific variations of cars haha. Thank you in that case though

O2MO Svesor Or... Maybe it's "just only" a Lancer.. I think it's "only" a Lancer but when looking up Lancers on PM, these hatch variations seem to be very rare spots haha

You've may heard of this net site: https://regnr.info/ It is in some cases unaccurate, but in other cases it can give you a lot of technical info on the vehicle, that you'll not find at Statens vegvesen..

This is the site i use the most, and it's usually accurate enough to identify a car, but sometimes it can be quite inconsistent. A Volkswagen Jetta can be listed as a Volkswagen Vr6 and Audi Avant cars have the 'Avant' name sometimes and sometimes not.
Hehe, it's the same with most danish cars older than 10 years or so. The old paper records were ridiculously incomplete - guess many of the desk clerks at the vehicle registry were really lazy and couldn't be bothered to enter more than an absolute minimum of data. Some are only listed with the bard name, followed by "uoplyst" (undisclosed), so there are thousands of Scania Undisclosed in DK
Sometimes they didn't even get the name right, I've seen Mercedes-Benz listed as "MB", "Mercedes", "aimler Benz" etc and the dash betweeen Mercedes and Benz comes and goes.
Even the vin numbers are sometimes wrong. Just today I came across a 2006 Seat Ibiza with a vin number said to start with US (that's Ireland) instead of VS (Spain), guess the clerk transferring the old paper record to digital format thought, that the "V" looked rounded at the bottom and decided it was probably a "U", just plain silly.
It's just tragical when such info isn't accurate One day it will be necessary historically. Me and ValskraaCapo discovered one thing that must be wrong concerning https://regnr.info/: Cars that has been imported to Norway are often (on newer cars) having info on from what country they were exported. One of these countries used to be Sint Maarten. When you're new to this you may not think that's just normal. There is nothing wrong about importing cars from Sint Maarten... After a while we noticed there was a large bumber of cars being exported therefrom.. There are. I.e about 40.000 inhabitants there... The answer had to be the USA. I tried to mail regnr.info to get this confirmed, but after 5 mails the silence is total...
