Again at my local Waitrose, again facing the same direction, parked with a car to the right, same spot, electric and with an EN registration, as with my Tesla Model Y spot, EN 36832 which isn't deregistered. Just 126 numbers off. Really weird

Ah that explains it somewhat! I saw that on the car's registration details too. Wonder how this got a higher number than its Tesla counterpart even though it was registered later on in the year

Plates are usually allocated in batches to the dealers around the country, so they aren't necessarily registered in sequence. Depends on the turnaround of the individual dealers.

This was my courtesy Car from insurance after my Tesla was crashed into in London
