Это пожалуй, одна из самых невероятных находок!
Запомнил тот день надолго. Жара стояла жуткая!
Но день выдался на славу! На снимал много иностранцев. (очень много автомобилей с Казахстана, Киргизии, Армении,
экипажы Mongoll Rally - 4 из Великобритании и 1 из Германии.) Даже в тот день совет ранее не отмеченный поймал (прицеп по мойму). Уже вечером еду домой на троллейбусе.
Проезжаю мимо заправки, смотрю заправляется необычный мотоцикл с сумками по бокам и с очень странным номером. И как на зло не сфотать, следующая остановка довольно-таки далеко! Доезжаю я до этой остановки, пулей
вылетаю с троллейбуса и бегу дворами только лишь бы не упустить этот мотоцикл! Бежал долго и всё-таки не успел, он уехал! Понял, что больше его не увижу (скорей всего заправился и дальше поехал, подумал я). Пошёл по этой же улице в надежде что он всё-таки вернётся. И мне повезло! Ровно через 10 минут он вернулся.

Да ещё и на мопеде к нам на Алтай! 
До пандемии, когда границы были ещё открыты, всегда у нас много иностранцев проезжало, по себе знаю, летом федералка всегда была заполнена машинами с номерами из Европы, сейчас, к сожалению, всё изменилось... ((

I'd think he said that while he was in the trolleybus, on his way home, he saw at a gas station a motorbike with bags on each side and a strange license plate. Then, after seeing it, he got off the trolleybus and ran as fast as he could to spot that motorbike, but it was gone and he was worried about it. 10 minutes later, he could finally spot that motorbike after missing it.
Side note: This is basically what did you say, but a bit more extended.

Yes, that's the Russian translation for the word congratulations. I've also used it sometimes.

Да уж, до пандемии была красота. Особенно 2019-ый год я запомню на долго. Много стран я нафотал в тот год. Да и советов очень много новых было (чёрных очень много).
Мотоциклов с Америки много нафотал (Калифорния, Огайо). Кстати на этом же самом месте где фотал мотоцикл с Новой Зеландии, в начале августа попался мотоцикл с номерами Израиля! Тоже невероятная находка, но к сожалению луч солнца попал на нижнюю часть номера не видно
