#ANZAC

In New Zealand and Australia, Anzac Day falls on 25 April.
"ANZAC" stands for the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps, and 25 April 1915 is the date that these forces made land on Gallipoli in what's now Turkey.
It is a holiday to commemorate Australians and New Zealanders who served and died in all conflicts and peacekeeping operatons.
Lest we forget.

Dashboard view. Very simplistic controls.

The red poppy (Papaver rhoeas) is a symbol of rememberance of the fallen soldiers in WW1 and thereafter.
This plant thrives in areas of disturbed soil. Red poppies blooming were a common sight in the Western Front, where the incessant shelling and fighting kicked up lots of soil and tore up the land in-between the trench lines.

LEST WE FORGET.

Interesting to have all the old military vehicles at services, normally it's just the veterans
