License plates of Poland, Regular car plates

Stavern, Norway
30 October 2011

On a local journey I met a Polish man driving this (in Norway) extremely rare automobile. We chatted for a while about it, and suddenly he offered me a short test drive. I was eager like a young boy and couldn't say "no" to this... Very kind of him, and very interesting to drive a type of car that I'd never seen before. So, it's me you see in the car... :)

These are really cool, especially rare since it's a sedan. I'd love to import one of these to Norway some day, that would make it Norway's first Polonez Caro :)

According to the register there have been ca 350 cars registered in Norway with the name Polonez, but most of these are scrapped, I guess. So, you may be the first with a Norwegian Polonez in Platesmania... !;) That would be really cool! :thumbs up:

First Polonez Caro :) Original Polonez was sold in Norway, but these facelift ones are called Caro and weren't sold here, so would be the first one. :)

Hmmm, if I google on "Polones Caro" I get the original ordinary Polonez liftback version that was sold in Norway. The one on the pictures here seems to be called "Atu"... Shoot me if I'm wrong! :D

The vehicle's inspection was due in July of 2015... It spent some time in Norway, possibly was reregistered? :D
