I like to keep my stats accurate, say I would've spotted 5 russian plates and uploaded both sides of all, it would say i have 10 russian plates rather than 5

Yes, I understand you but if you don´t upload them somebody maybe be quicker and find the other view too and upload it. So then it has to stay in the comments with the actual rules here. I would overthink that on your side.

Do you mean that I only take one picture, but someone else has also uploaded that side and then I can't upload that side? But I would've been able to if I took a picture of both sides?

The user who uploads it faster is in the better position as there are only 2 ways for exchanging it. 1) The quality of the 2nd version is huge better than it can be changed. 2) The uploader accepts on his own decision the exchange for the 2nd version - and that is 50/50. Only a major change of the car e.g. another colour or damage or something like that is accepted for a upload in the same region too. Otherwise it has to stay only in the comments. So to sum up I would on your side upload this rear view - in this case of the BMW 3er - as quick as possible.
