The kindest and most positive driver I've ever met allowed me not only to take pictures of the truck, but also to sit in it, and even offered me a ride)

A similar thing is happened to me, on the October 2023. When I photographed the MAN TGS, after I told the owner that I love trucks, he was very pleased. He shown the interior of his truck and I even started the engine too! He also tell me and my dad that he'll take a ride with me and my dad one day as well :D .

Great story! It is always a pleasure to communicate with positive drivers. By the way, the driver of this Scania is called Miroslav and he is from Slovakia. After 15 minutes of our acquaintance and positive communication, we shook hands and agreed to meet next time!)

As a trucker I can say that it is nice if someone shows interest in trucks but I would think twice about letting someone actually inside. There are many scammers and thiefs that could steal something. But if its kid interested I would obviously let him peek inside. So if someone wont let you in, dont be surprised or offended, we live in dangerous world and all of our belongings are inside. :)

I'm a driver myself, and I know all the risks, so I was surprised when the driver allowed me to drive. =) :drink:

Thanks! Yes it is. Also, the driver of TGS I photographed, is called Ferhat. After having nice chatting with him, he shown his interior to me and my dad, and started the engine, as I've mentioned. Hope I could meet with him someday.

It's lovely to hear of such positive experiences between fellow truckers. I've only just gone into this industry as a trucker myself (albeit only driving nationally for now, follow #JackoWorkTruck for photos of my trucks I've driven), and the vast majority of interactions I've had with other truckers have been friendly, polite and full of useful advice. We're all in this together, keeping countries/economies running, and putting food on the tables of families!

The advice that SimCo gave regarding letting others into your truck is good, as unfortunately there are people out there who ruin it for others, through scams etc. That aside, I'm glad that this community are supportive of us truckers. If anyone ever wanted to spot me driving my truck, I'm sure as hell going to give the biggest flash/honk/wave :D

Keep up the good work, Demon! :D

Greetings, Jacko!) I am very glad that most truckers are joining forces! I didn't think there would be so many photographers working as truckers on the site. Sometimes I look at your content, you have good photos, and from the angle I immediately guessed that you work as a trucker. But unfortunately, there is almost no truck traffic now, and I regret that I couldn't photograph trucks from Europe before. I am very glad that someone likes my content, I will try not to stop taking pictures and continue to please my colleagues. Thank you very much! :bravo: :drink:
