Did you take it? I wont lie, I have stole a plate before! I have took a plate from a caravan used for storing plants at a garden centre last year, I didn't keep it though because I saw a Land Rover Discovery with the same plate in the car park, which belongs to one of the gardeners.

Aren't regular UK plates selling for like 5€ on Ebay? Isn't it better to just buy them than to snag the plate from some poor guy and causing them headache if they want to use it again some day.

I agree, but that caravan hasn't moved for a very long time, its started to sink into the ground, it had mould growing from it and a tree has started growing through it. I dont think anyone plans on using it anytime soon.
I didn't keep the plate, I just left it on the tow bar hitch as soon as I saw the Disco.

My mom asked one of the employees at the counter, said the plate belonged to the owner of the garden centre, so I didn't take it.

No, I asked my Uncle who own the garage. and he allowed me to take the plate back home
