Very nice! Quite strange to see those Vectra SRi alloys on the car, but they seem to fit quite well :)

The same car with a different body, after all... :D
Sad to see it with damage and especially rust. :( I've spotted a 2003 9-3 last year which was scrapped since then, maybe for a similar reason?

You say that, but the 9-3 had so much changed to it underneath, that some mechanical parts are completely different to the Vectra counterpart. Of course, the engines and gearbox components are the same, mainly because Saab couldn't afford to develop their own engines from that point (blame General Motors), however the interior is strictly unique to Saab (and Cadillac with the BLS, it's uncanny to see a Cadillac badge stuck to a Saab interior :D ). Unfortunately, some of these 9-3 models do rust in the same areas (around the wheel arches), but it's generally more cosmetic and doesn't cause structual issues :) Is there a way to view inspection records of Swedish cars (Like you can view MOT records of UK-registered vehicles)?

It's nice if the interior is unique, in the past I've ridden in a Smart Forfour, and the owner showed me a few Mitsubishi logos in it :D
I use biluppgifter.se, it has a nice timeline of inspections, owners and traffic status changes. TXU792 failed its last inspection, and also had a high mileage, but don't know what was wrong with it and strange that they couldn't even sell it abroad...

Badge engineering is a very interesting thing sometimes. :D Ahhh yes, I have also used Biluppgifter before, but I never really liked the idea of finding information about the owners (including addresses etc.). Not many plate-checking websites give out information like that, especially here in the UK, where it would be a breach of GDPR/Data Protection law. I do use car.info for Swedish car info too, which seems more 'in-depth' with the actual vehicle's technical information.
Yeah it's strange that this car wasn't exported elsewhere, these Saabs are popular used imports in many countries usually!

Yes, owner data is a taboo in most places, including Hungary, but I have no problem with the transparency in Sweden :) Some cars don't have info about their owner, so it looks like it can be hidden optionally.
