I've had that a few times now, I don't let it bother me. In fact, I find it quite funny
All it does is make the company look bad when the photos of their trucks get posted on the internet!

I've had people yelling at me for taking photos of their cars. Just let them have their ego trip and tell them you were taking a photo of something behind and they were in the way. Worked every time for me.
In your case, some people will just be assholes for the sake of being assholes

Had that as well a few times. Last time was 2 weeks ago, when I got confronted by the owner of a Mercedes CLA 200d with British registration. I didn't even spot his Merc and he already yelled at me for preparing my camera to spot it! Left the place immediately and decided later on that I will never spot anymore a Merc with GB plates.

I will never understand why some people think photograph the car is mean a bad reason, like the car is about get report to the police
