Well the V5C (the British equivalent of a 'title') was issued on the day that I spotted the car, so it's likely that the car was purchased fairly recently (keeper start date was the 7th April), and that the registration '1 KND' was used by the previous owner of the car.

Interesting information! Thanks!! Yeah, when cars are bought in SC, they usually receive a new plate, or the owner can transfer their plate. Is it possible to transfer plates in Great Britain? In SC, transfers happen a lot.

No worries, anytime! In the UK, the plate stays with the car throughout it's lifetime, though yes transferring registrations are a very common occurance here too.
