For future reference, the street where the vehicle was spotted is not allowed to be disclosed. Likewise road signs dictating the street name should also be blurred. For events & dealerships there is some leniancy, so this upload is fine, but if it's 'on the street', so to speak, just the town is more than enough! The minimum requirement is the ceremonial county.
Yeah I thought putting streets would be too much. Mind you I suppose like you say leniancy is a bit different to showrooms.
on the other hand i am quite respectful when it comes to cars inside showrooms. This car happened to be a friends on collection. he's not worried about it being visible. One of those things you have to respect what the showroom wants. Another showroom with a rather rare car was awaiting collection with the plate on however no photos were allowed but came to the agreement that the plate would be modified in editing and it was all cool with the manager and customer.
We've had people putting the actual postcodes before! That was obviously a huge breach of privacy and was swiftly deleted. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it honestly.
I've only gone into a dealership once when it was something really special!
I visited Lamborghini and Bentley Birmingham in the summer: staff told me I could take photos, just without a plate One of the plates were registered to a VW Polo and displayed on a Mulliner-spec Conti GT Also saw DMO’s Matte Urus
And what if the town is a one-street village? Is disclosing it quite OK? I usually put such an information, although voivodeship, district or commune would be enough. Is it a mistake, too? And what about #carsandPOI in this context?
In that situation, I would not put the town, just the county. Cars&POI is fine because it's usually a tourist attraction, thus highly unlikely that the car resides there. There is also no requirement to actually specify what the POI is, though there's nothing wrong with doing so
