This car is owned by the RNLI, which fundraises using the car. They complete a challenge each year, this year with Belinda and James, a retired couple from London. This year’s challenge is to drive clockwise around the whole of The British Isles and Ireland. The aim is to visit all 238 RNLI lifeboat stations and do the visits in under 911 hours. This means that the couple will board 36 ferries, 4 flights and drive over 8,500 miles in ‘Splash’, the 911.
