I've had it on UK plates long enough for the MOT to expire (my fault, have now ordered what it needs for the MOT!), and only today uploaded the first photo it... Somewhat slacking I fear :D

Thanks :thumbs up: It's not the only unusual car I have but certainly the rarest of the lot (in the UK anyway) :D

If it’s not a secret, how much did the customs procedures cost? Were there any difficulties with the MOT and taxs?

I don't remember the numbers but clearance fees and taxes were several hundred, plus DVLA fees. You wouldn't do it if you wanted to sell it for profit, I did it because I wanted it and I plan to keep it!
Import was not smooth, it took about 3-4 months to get everything sorted. MOT needs to adjust the headlamps and it got a lot of advisories :D The MOT tester said it is the most difficult car to pass he had, some things could have been pass or fail :D The Yugo is also successfully imported but with no MOT so not yet registered here, still on Hungary plates.

Looks like you didn't want to do it a second time :D
You have a wonderful hobby. Sometimes I also want to buy some old tub and bring it into good shape.
Too bad my big "ranch" is not liked by my wife and is not inhabited most time of the year. She likes better another "ranch", but there is no place for a collection there. So it looks like I won't be doing it anytime soon :D

Well I do want to :D But I decided to get some of the problems sorted, but I am planning to send it for an MOT in May hopefully... I have been working on it replacing some parts that would fail the MOT...
I wish I had my own land, for now it lives on a local farm, where I can drive it at low speeds, but I look forward to putting it back into regular use! I am sure you will get the opportunity one day =)
