Holden Monaro

3rd gen (V2/VZ), 2001–2006

License plate of the United Kingdom, 2001 year system

First Holden Monaro on site. This was imported in February 2010. Interesting how someone imported an Australian-speci Monaro, when we got the Monaro here under the 'Vauxhall' brand.

Spotted on the M2, Kent, United Kingdom
#AUS-spec

Australian made ???

Yes, Holden is an Australian brand.

Very nice spot, GTRJacko! Australian-made cars are a definite rarity. I wonder why Australia isn't anywhere in the Platesmania country galleries plan?

Thanks. Not sure why Australia wouldn't be on that list, but i assume if there was a few spotters from there, it would possibly be made. That said, there probably isn't many, or any foreign registered cars in Australia, so Australian-based users would probably not use this website, unless they were serious plate aficionados :)

Cooooooool !!! I love Australia, and would hopefully like to live there someday !! That's a shame it didn't make the list... Too exotic for now I guess. I love listening to ABC News Radio in Oz !! :D

All it takes is one ! Maybe platesmania can send me there with a sponsorship ! :D Or Australia will let me stay on a work visa for this website ! LMFAO !!! :D

I tend to think that because of Australia's location that they really wouldn't see foreign vehicles, except maybe Papua New Guinea and some Indonesian spots up North. However Australia does have license plates specific to their states with unique designs and formats, so I do see a motivation and reason to have an interest in license plates down there...
