In some European countries it is the law you must display a front a plate regardless of the law in your home territory, so you can see many varieties of home-made front plates for American cars, some looks really good, others are very bad! The UK accepts foreign cars without front plates, but France for example, does not. Germany doesn't either I believe but in the last year I have started to see some cars without, so maybe they no longer push this law..?
Uralos master_toledo_915 Never a Front with Florida !!
This one had a front plate, but it was covered by the tree, so couldn't spot
Wow I can see that from the back !!! Well, any fronts from Florida are fake or reproduced... But platesmania allows them on the site. Yet when I find fake European License Plates they are PROMPTLY DELETED !

Interesting fact ! O ok so that's why all these annoying fakes are on the site !!! Good mention !! Very good information about European Laws regarding this !! Thanks !!

No problem! So technically they are not fakes because they represent the plate on the car, and are required for legal reasons in absence of official plates. It gets tricky but we tend to classify a fake plate as something entirely fictitious with a number that doesn't exist (or not correct), whereas these "plates" are correct, just not official. I saw a Bentley in London a few years ago with Massachusetts plate on the back and a British style front plate (waiting for the gallery to upload them!), while most I see are a closer copy to the rear plate - often just a photocopy stuck to the front
Not just in Europe.. the Vienna Convention says that if you are travelling abroad (doesn't matter the country) you need to display a front plate, even if the region your car is registered doesn't provide a front number plate. International laws haha
