(17AK930) and I thought it was a green base number but it was a pink/blue number
The highest I’ve seen on that base for Clay county is 17BT890 but it was issued in 2000

What?! So apparently, this car drove from Alabama to South Carolina, became "retired", then apparently drove to Texas, got involved in a flood, and went BACK to South Carolina. It actually did disappear for a while, so this is what happened to it. Now I have to upload the best photo I have of it:
