I wish more places would have their own fonts! Half of the world is using the (in my opinion awful) German FE-Schrift font, soon every country will look the same :wall:

The British Font is called "Charles Wright 2001", which replaced "Charles Wright" in 2001. We have an easy naming system to differentiate the change :D :D

You really are lucky to have that much variety, just using a few samples from my own plate collection below you can see how the current German font has spread like a virus around the world and grows stronger each year ]:-

Middle East:

South America:

Asia:

Africa: How many can you spot in just this small part of my wall with FE-Schrift :ups:

Lol nice !! Thanks for that ! :)
Yes actually we are, several people complained about the 3M font, Iowa was the first to use it. It doesn't bother me, but it's not that interesting like Nebraska or the New Georgia...etc... Most people thought it was just going to be the 3M font, until Minnesota came out, and then other states started creating their own like Arizona and Nebraska ! Tennessee was the first to use Minnesota I believe.

Jesus ! You're right !! I didn't realize it was on so many other countries !! Not a particularly attractive font either !! That is horrible ! What countries recently added it ?? Yeah I mean like, Poland has a much pleasing font !! :D

Hmmmm .... Germany gaining ground on a lot of countries with their own influence... Does THIS remind you of anything in the not so distant past ?? :jokingly:  :pardon:

The most recent countries I am aware of are Nepal, the Mercosur countries in South America, Oman, Kyrgyzstan, and I know I am forgetting a couple off the top of my head right now. But it is creeping slowly! Germany certainly seems to be the number plate empire, many countries have their plates made in Germany and shipped to them even using fonts like Iraq and Egypt for example, but when new plates are being designed, that FE font is always present on the samples as an encouragement...
