Fun fact about Victory VT: population is only 70, making it the smallest town in the state! And it one of the last two towns connected to the state's power grid, in 1963 (along with the town of Granby)!

That's very interesting. Funny enough on my trip from Calgary to Saskatoon (two somewhat major cities in western Canada), apple maps decided the quickest route would involve a shortcut on an unpaved township road. Again a little too rough for my liking. Luckily like in your case it was a pretty short stint.
