It was sold under the Buick Regal, like many other Opel, Mokka -> Encore, Cascada -> Cascada

Are you sure it isn't just an upbadged Buick?
The Buick has plastic cladding on the wheel arches which this doesn't appear to have.

Could have been mounted, I’ve seen worse things done on upbadged cars
