Thanks! I think from memory, at the time it was supposed to be the only MC12 in America, but I seem to remember there was one in New York too...? It's a long time ago to remember these special details!

You're probably right. There's at least one on NJ plates, I don't know if it had NY plates before.
This car has a special place in my heart, the MC12 was the first 'hypercar' i'd ever seen!
Unfortunately our local MC12 was sold some years ago and now resides in Florida I believe, however it had always been a US registered car. I guess increases the number in the US by 1!
I think I went through a phase for a couple of years of seeing them at shows and stuff and then they disappeared, apart from one at a dealership I used to visit before covid I haven't seen any for a few years now. My passion started in 2005 when I saw them racing at the Spa 24 hour race in Belgium! I always had a soft spot for them and preferred them over the Enzo (shock horror to some people I'm sure!!)
I would have to agree with you there, I have had the luxury of seeing two myself in contrast with the Enzo which I have seen 0.... hahah. One day!
Its funny you mention the disappearance of the MC12, I remember locally we used to have 4 of 5 Enzo's at least that I had seen photos of, read about... and now there is only 1 to my knowledge. I guess as the value goes up they are likely to be sold to private collections elsewhere.
Interesting that you haven't seen any Enzo compared to the MC12 which I find to be much rarer. Without sounding like I'm boasting, but I've lost count of Enzo's I've seen, but I can count all (street legal) MC12's on just one hand. I am confident you will come across an Enzo one day, they do seem to be settling down into collections a bit now but a few still move around a little!
I just remembered there was actually an Enzo in my local town for a while over 10 years ago, I managed to get a photo of it once, even though it was often parked (more like abandoned) on the high street about half a metre from the side of the road so it blocked the flow of traffic. From memory the same owner had a Veyron after it which I failed to get a photo of, and it was abandoned the same way on the busy high street quite often Back then hypercars and supercars were quite common to see but that bubble burst about 7-8 years ago and it's a special treat again to see anything that special
I do envy the sheer volume of outlandishly expensive cars that are in the UK!
I actually dug up the photos of the MC12's, I managed to see the Orange one (before it was orange, but still with the Corsa wing) on the road once. The photos I have are at a dealership, and a show.
Sorry, the one double posted. I actually found a photo (not mine) of the Orange One and our local Enzo parked along a road. You can see the MC12 was registered in North Carolina.
Not all the Enzo's I've seen have been in the UK, Florida and Monaco take up the slack But generally yes we are incredibly lucky here!
And they have both been breathed on by EDO - rare beasts indeed!! I've still never seen an EDO MC12 or Enzo. One of the few supercar tuning companies I do actually respect and even have an EDO model in my collection! There was the Dubai registered Gemballa MIG-U1 Enzo in Monaco the same time as me one year, I saw it posted live when I was on the other side of the bay, I walked around straight away but it was already gone and I never got to see it - whilst I think it is ugly it would have been a really rare treat to see!
