Some traffic police car sometimes used different light bars. One could use a red-blue lightbar, one could use a red-blue-red lightbar, one could use a tiny lightbar which unmarked cars used,... It depends on the department on what lightbar to give to their vehicles.

Many times I saw a Toyota Camry for the NA-market at the traffic police.
Where did they get these cars from, if a version for the Global-market was officially sold in Vietnam?

The Traffic Police imported these Camrys directly from the US. Traffic Police uses both NA-market Camrys and Global-market Camrys. Even some 8th gen Camrys were imported from the US too (there are many pictures of CSGT 8th gen Camrys with LE badge, implied that they were imported from the US)

I found one of those UAZs serving for Mường Hum ward police (a ward belongs to Bát Xát District, Lào Cai Province):https://soha.vn/can-canh-cong-an-xa-dien-tap-tan-cong-tieu-diet-khung-bo-20220625071314014.htm

Nice job!

Thanks! And I have a theory like this: Lào Cai has used UAZs as their police cars with 24A-000.30, an UAZ 469 (https://platesmania.com/vn/nomer11648082) as an example and in 2022 (the time when the article was uploaded), they use an UAZ Patriot as their police cars. So maybe those UAZs were sent to Lào Cai Provincial Police?

Will look into this further.

I saw it for the first time in Da Nang, it’s a common thing there.
It’s understandable when a car is covered with a cover so that the paint doesn’t fade in the sun, but why wrap the car around the perimeter?
I have never seen anything like this anywhere in Vietnam)

Well you're not wrong, it's a common thing here. That thing is to protect the vehicle from getting damaged by the mouses, since when they enter the engine they will bite off the electronics and cause damages to the vehicle. And it's not just in Da Nang, I have saw a lot of this thing in Hanoi. It costs around 39$-79$ depends on the material of the wrap-around.

This BMW is quite a mystery. There're only 2 articles about it on the internet. They stated that the BMW was a seized car from traffic violations (It was discovered using fake documents and license plate) by Quảng Ninh Provincial Police and then converted into traffic police car like your theory.

Those Dodge Chargers belong to Biên Hòa Traffic Police, the capital of Đồng Nai Province, commissioned in around 2013. It's one of, if not the rarest police car in Vietnam with only around 2 known (60A-011.88 and 60A-011.99). The car's origin is presumably imported from the US.

There’s going to be a police parade on the 1st of July, and I captured two police cars outside a mechanic.

This is a must-capture, as not only there are those two Dodge Chargers, but also quite a few armoured vehicles and sidecars too.

Hopefully they let me capture them… Probably they’ll do, just that I don’t interfere.

Yep, don't do anything suspicious and you will be alright. Chargers and armored cars are one of the rarest vehicles in the gallery so good luck!

I also considered the version with rats as one of the options.

@justanormalguy, are you visiting the Phạm Văn Đồng Memorial in Mộ Đức, Quảng Ngãi on your way? There’s a Volga with supported plates displayed there, if you want to capture it.

Well Đồng Hới is my destination, we don't plan to go further into Quảng Ngãi and beside, I'm back to Hanoi now so I guess maybe next time.
