Lê Quý Đôn High school for the Gifted, Nam Nha Trang ward, Khánh Hòa.
My first spot as an official student here.
Also, shall I change my username so as to conceal my real identity, lest the teachers figure me out?

Congratulations! Hope you will have a good start of your high school journey. :drink:
It depends on the school whether they care about it or not. I have spotted many teachers' and students' vehicles inside the school, and haven't heard about any discussions of someone taking photos of vehicles inside.
But your username is your choice, so you should change it if you felt uncomfortable spotting vehicles inside your school with your real name.

Good luck on your high school journey! :drink: That makes 3 (!) students from gifted high schools. What a community.

I disagree with justanormalguy, actually. Sooner or later, they will know about your hobby and call it out in some way or another. I'm speaking from experience here, so do be cautious of that.

Thanks guys. :D I changed my name (it matches my Wikipedia one, if you’re wondering).

However, I can’t see the new name on my post yet. Will it take some time to update?

Congrats!

Thank you! :drink:

I coined this name as I joined writing articles on Wikipedia, it is also my favourite dish, haha.

My classmates have already found out about my hobby, they didn't judge me about it, sometimes even mock it (in a good way) and showed interest in seeing my gallery. I do expect the teachers to find out about it one day, and their reactions wouldn't be as positive as my friends though.

A teacher already knew about my hobby. The teacher is chill about it.

Oh, BTW, bún boà, how do you get to your new school? I looked it up, and it seems quite distant from the city centre.

I travel by bus, on this route, see here https://platesmania.com/vn/nomer27947810
The experience is quite atrocious, with the bus crammed with passengers throughout the journey, even hopping on the bus is a problem.

Hopefully Phương Trang upgrades their buses sometime soon. HCMC has a similar situation with the 60-7 bus (also operated by Phương Trang), and the public isn't too happy.
Anyway, I have your full name now (public info, BTW). So I have a few questions regarding your school:
- You have a Jeniffer in English class? How does it get sorted out?
- What's the deal with a "Lovele Fei Bacarro Lưu" in Chem?
- How come Khánh Hoà still has a curriculum in French? Đồng Nai used to have it but it got abolished long ago.
P/S: Your grades are stacked. Keep it up.

Yeah, I’m hoping to see a nice change in their fleets (more buses).
About your questions:

- My class doesn’t have anyone named Jennifer, she’s actually in the next class.
- That’s a Vietnamese-Filipino student. I’ve known her since elementary school, but we’re not that close.
- I’m not sure why my province still keeps French classes. Nguyễn Văn Trỗi is the only high school that offers them, as far as I know.
Why did you ask these questions, just curious, or was there something on your mind?

I'm just really curious, it's not that common to see, like, multi-ethnic students in my area. The closest we have are Chinese students already with Vietnamese names and students from minority ethnicities. Though I am aware of two Taiwanese 8th graders with the original Chinese name whom my mum teaches.
