This will most likely be the last photo that will ever be uploaded of this license plate.
During the night of the 29th of October 2024, the front and rear versions of this plate were stolen. I don't know exactly when and where the plates were stolen. At around 6pm the plate was last depicted by the dashcam, which shows it in the reflection of a supermarket when arriving. However, when driving away around 20 minutes later, the dashcam started recording too late to see a reflection. But it is very unlikely to be stolen there, since a lot of people were around and the car was parked very close to a wall. After that, the car was parked in a very dark and small street for around 40 minutes, during which time the plates were most likely stolen. Later the car drove home into our garage, which is very small but shared with approximately 20 other cars. It parked there over night, driving away in the next morning around 11:30am and not being parked until the theft was noticed. I strongly doubt that it was stolen there, since it would be the first and only instance of a plate ever being stolen in this garage.
Unfortunately I never activated parking recording on the dashcam and so I only got footage while the car is driving. As a result I cannot gather more info.
Now I am left with unanswered questions like why, when and how this has happened.
This plate is currently holding the record for most uploaded plate to PlatesMania, having now exactly 110 uploads. There are so many pictures of it, that not all are displayed down at the doubles, so the only way to view all of them is here.
It was really annoying and time consuming to always take two photos whenever entering a new region, only for the plate to now be gone forever. I cannot believe that this has actually happened.
This is the new plate and I really dislike it.
As always and now for the very last time, for more Information, see the first Picture of the Plate and the first Picture of the green Sportage down at the Double Spots.
