I see that you also visited Mount Wellington/Kunanyi When did you go there? I visited on Friday, the weather was perfect for the trip, even though it had snowed the day before. Very lucky for this time of year

I've been there 24 of August. Despite the clouds, the visibility around was perfect. But it was so windy and cold that I almost frostbitten my fingers.

It gets very cold up there in winter and early spring, and there is usually snow between June and December. I was lucky that I went on a good day, very sunny and 21C in Hobart, with 6C at the summit of the mountain. There were no VIC plates there, only on the road up, but lots of TAS there that I spotted

I saw and spotted both VIC and QLD and NSW plates up there.
You told that was going to visit Launceston. Was it worth it? You know when I plan my trip to Australia I wasn't going to visit TAS and in last moment included in my trip by reducing staying in others parts of the country. And now I regret that I didn't take more days for Tasmania. I would visit Tasmania again and explore north and north-west part of island but it is so far away from where I live..

It's very popular with tourists. Apart from Tasmania, I spotted these three states too. I saw more WA plates in Tasmania than I have seen in Melbourne
As for Launceston, I did visit the city, it was fantastic there. We drove from there to Cradle Mountain and also visited Cataract Gorge, of course with amazing scenery too, and lots of plates from all over Australia
I definitely would recommend Tasmania to anyone, but there are big areas where it's empty, with no settlements or Internet connection. In general, most settlements have at least 3G mobile data, but it can be unreliable. Best to travel to Tasmania if you want to experience untouched nature. It's very underrated
