Haha - at least EV's have coding in the lettering. It is otherwise very difficult to spot the French bases on standard ON plates!

Nice French base!! I don't think I have ever seen one, I do have a photo of an EXTREMELY rare newer blue plate with French writing in the backlog

I think Ontario is the only province with the choice between French and English bases. (which on EV's changes the coding). The plates in Quebec are French and the plates in New Brunswick are bilingual saying both New and Nouveau. Manitoba also has optional greetings on their plates in certain indigenous languages.

I always forget Nunavut LOL probably because I will likely never visit and never see a plate  :D
